How to Choose Aluminum Windows in Saudi Arabia
Heat, dust and sun define the Saudi climate. Here is what actually matters when specifying aluminum windows for a villa or a commercial building.

Windows are one of the few building components you interact with every day and pay for every month — through cooling bills. In the Saudi climate, the difference between a well-specified aluminum window and a basic one shows up in comfort, noise and energy use.
Start with the thermal break
A thermal-break profile inserts an insulating barrier between the outer and inner aluminum faces, interrupting heat transfer. For sun-exposed elevations in Riyadh, thermally broken frames paired with double glazing are the single most effective upgrade you can specify.
Glazing does the heavy lifting
Double glazing with a low-E or reflective coating reduces solar gain while keeping daylight. Tint level, coating and spacer choice should follow the elevation's orientation — a north-facing window and a west-facing one do not need the same glass.
Opening type and hardware
Sliding sashes suit wide openings and save interior space; casement and tilt-turn seal more tightly against dust. Whichever you choose, hardware quality decides how the window feels after five years — ask what brands and warranties apply.
Finally, buy from a fabricator, not just a reseller: factory-made windows with surveyed dimensions and documented QC install faster and perform as specified.
